Elizabeth Davis, Director

Elizabeth is a native Texan, who was born and raised in the Houston area of Deer Park.  Elizabeth began her dancing career at Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where she was a member of their dance company.  Elizabeth moved to Tyler, Texas where she attended high school at Chapel Hill High School and was a member of the Chapel Hill Highlighters.  Mrs. Davis was a Junior Lieutenant and served as Captain her senior year.  While a Highlighter, Mrs. Davis won numerous overall awards, National Championships, and solo awards.

Upon graduation, Elizabeth tried out for and became a member of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes where she was a member of the 61st Line.  During her time as a Rangerette, Elizabeth performed with Jessica Simpson at the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day halftime show, and for President George W. Bush at the 2001 Black Tie & Boots Ball in Washington, D.C.  Mrs. Davis also had the privilege of walking in the Inaugural Parade for President Bush that same year.  After Kilgore, Mrs. Davis attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member of the UT Pom Squad and a semi-professional dancer for the Austin Wranglers Arena Football team.

After graduation, Elizabeth moved to the Dallas area where she began her teaching career at Sheena’s Dance Academy in Frisco and KC’s Dance & Cheer in Sachse while working in technology and telecom sales.  In 2015, Mrs. Davis taught dance at Wakeland High School where she was the Assistant Director of the Legacy Line.  This year begins Elizabeth’s fourth year as the Director of the Jasper Jazz and she is so incredibly blessed to work with this group of talented and hard-working young ladies.  Mrs. Davis hopes to carry on the legacy of Jasper Jazz and she is honored to do so.
